Sound Affects March 18th, 2017 - Adinkra Cultural Arts Studio (Mount Rainer, MD) 

On Saturday March 18th, 2017, Adinkra Cultural Arts Studio hosted the 10th installment of our quarterly "Sound Affects" event, a mix of Art & Activism that benefited a local charity The Society For Girls and featured food from NativSol Kitchen, jewelry from Rox & Glitter, clothing designer, Chisom Custom Designs, beauty and wellness products from Serene Crème and artist Janai Macklin.

March is Women's History Month and our event celebrated women DJ's, entrepreneurs, and change makers across DC. 


Sound Affects December 10th, 2016 - The Fridge (Washington D.C.) 

 

On Saturday December 10th, 2016, The Fridge hosted the 9th installment of our quarterly "Sound Affects" event, a mix of Art & Activism that benefited a local charity Community Forklift and featured food from Got Birds, men's fashion stylist HaberdashNow, beauty and wellness products from Serene Crème and artist Janai Macklin.
